Why Get Involved with Missions?

Because God is a sending God. From Genesis to Revelation, God moves toward people—seeking, rescuing, restoring. We join His mission not because the world needs us, but because the world needs Him. Missions is simply aligning our lives with the heartbeat of a God who goes after the lost, the hurting, and the overlooked.
Because the gospel compels us. When we truly grasp what Jesus has done—His rescue, His grace, His healing—it becomes impossible to keep it to ourselves. Missions is not an obligation; it’s overflow. We go because we’ve been transformed.

Because people matter to God. Every face, every story, every nation, every neighbor. Missions is not about projects—it’s about people created in the image of God, deeply loved, and worth crossing barriers for.

Because the Church exists for more than gathering. We gather to worship, but we scatter to witness. A missions team helps the church live out its identity as a sent people—locally, globally, and everywhere in between.

Because the world is longing for hope. People are searching for meaning, healing, belonging, and truth. Missions is stepping into that longing with the hope of Jesus—the only hope that truly restores.

Because obedience is part of discipleship. Jesus didn’t give the Great Commission to a select few; He gave it to His Church. A missions team helps the whole body live out that calling intentionally, with humility, and with love.

Because God is already at work. We don’t bring God to people—He’s already moving. Missions is joining Him where He’s working, partnering with what He’s already stirring, and celebrating the fruit He produces.
