Library Announcement 5/9/25

Most of us want to be obedient and share our faith with non-believers. But many of us struggle to find the right words needed to defend our faith when God's Word and biblical truth is questioned or challenged. Did you know that our church library has resources to help?

Lakeview Church's library team is excited to showcase our large collection of books and DVDs in the category of "Christian apologetics". We've recently received a large donation of new, unused items in excellent condition with many written especially for teens and children. These resources provide factual evidence, logical arguments and scripture references to help us defend, explain and teach our Christian beliefs and church doctrine to others. This information can also deepen our own faith by answering some of our own questions and clearing up areas of confusion. The better we can defend our own faith the better we can attract others to the saving faith of Christ in the Gospel! The Bible states in 1 Peter 3:15, "Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope."

Feel free to browse through and borrow a book or two about:
   - creation viewpoints
   - the evidence for Christ as Messiah
   - the evidence for biblical events (like the Great Flood)
  -  biblical worldview on racism, gender identity and climate change

And please check out our full collection of over 1200 books and 200 DVDs downstairs in our library in 110 on Sundays or during regular office hours.
