Come to Jesus

In this powerful exploration of what it truly means to be a Christian, we delve into the heart of discipleship as revealed in John 1:35-47. We're challenged to reconsider our understanding of Christianity beyond mere identification or belief, and instead embrace it as a transformative way of life. The passage shows us how Jesus called His first disciples, inviting them not just to believe, but to 'come and see' - to follow Him and learn His way of living. This call extends to us today, urging us to acknowledge Jesus as both our Savior and our King, to follow Him in His way of life, to find our identity in Him, and to share Him with others. As we reflect on this, we're prompted to ask ourselves: Have we truly surrendered to Jesus as our King, or are we merely using Him as a Savior? Are we living distinctly different lives that reflect Christ's teachings? It's a challenging message that pushes us to move beyond surface-level faith to become true disciples who are coming to Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus with others.
