Be Filled with the Spirit
Are we living Spirit-filled lives, or are we merely going through the motions of faith? This powerful message challenges us to examine the true source of our spiritual power. Drawing from Ephesians 5:18-21, we're reminded that being filled with the Spirit isn't a one-time event, but an ongoing process of surrendering more of ourselves to God's influence. The analogy of watering a garden with a cup versus using a hose vividly illustrates how we often rely on our own limited resources instead of tapping into God's abundant power. To live Spirit-filled lives, we must intentionally make room for God, confess and eliminate sin, and remain open to the Spirit's promptings. This isn't about acquiring more of the Spirit, but allowing the Spirit to have more of us. As we reflect on this, let's consider: Are we truly experiencing the transformative power of God in our daily lives, or are we settling for a form of godliness without its power?
