Welcome to LakeView!

We think of ourselves as a spiritual family, and many have chosen to make LakeView their spiritual home. We don't just attend; we belong. Everyone is welcome here, so come on in, make yourself comfortable, and find yourself at home!

Join us for worship this Sunday.

We gather to worship God on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10. Here's what you can expect:

A personal atmosphere. We don't put on a show or pretend to be something we aren't. Worship is a verb, something we all participate in, not a performance to watch. Be yourself, wear whatever is comfortable, and grab a cup of coffee on your way in. During the service, we will sing, pray, and open God's Word together.

Practical preaching from the Bible. The good news of Jesus changes everything for us. We believe God’s Word is immensely practical, and the preaching centers on helping us personally apply the Bible to our everyday lives.

God’s presence in worship. God is personal and present with us when we gather. We experience his presence in tangible ways as we worship and pray. It’s an amazing thing to be together in the presence of God!

Opportunities to connect. Once a month we gather on a Sunday night to watch an episode of The Chosen and hang out. We also have Bible studies, Growth Groups, and other ways you can get connected.

What about the kids?

We’re a spiritual family, and families have kids! Because we value the children as part of our church family, we include them in a family worship service every other Sunday. On the alternating weeks, we have LV Kids programming for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade during the 10am service. Nursery for kids from 0-2 is provided weekly. And we also have a weekly PreK class. We utilize a safe and secure check-in/check-out system. All our staff and volunteers have passed background checks.

For students in 6th-12th grade, check out LV Students. Our youth group meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. Every week we worship, learn from God's Word, and connect with friends.

How to Actually Follow Jesus

In the New Testament, the word “disciple” and the word “Christian” were synonyms. A Christian is a disciple and a disciple is a Christian. A disciple isn’t a special ops Christian who takes their faith to the next level. A disciple is someone who is actually following Jesus—even if they’re the last one in line! Following Jesus is a lifelong journey that happens one step at a time, and the most important step you can take is the next one!
